Information About Our Looping Classroom
Our classroom is one of two looping classrooms at MES. This means that the teacher in third grade will also be the teacher for fourth grade. This builds a strong sense of community among the students. For the teacher, it gives more teaching time the second year when less assessment is done to place students at the beginning of the year. Teachers, parents, and students are also able to create strong working relationships that help the student achieve success.
Information about Madison Elementary School
MES first opened its doors in January of 2002. Madison's two elementary schools (Old Pointe Ave. and Main St.) joined together under one roof in a beautiful new facility.
